Meet the Creator
This platform, Seton Service, was created by Gavin, a 16-year-old sophomore at Seton Hall Preparatory School in New Jersey. Gavin is passionate about service and wanted to make it easier for students to find volunteer opportunities, track their service hours, and stay connected with their community.
Why Seton Service?
Gavin saw a need for a platform that streamlined volunteer sign-ups, hour tracking, and feedback. He wanted to ensure students could engage in service activities with ease, while also providing teachers and community members a way to share opportunities. Gavin also saw an opportunity to help students meet service requirements while giving back to their communities.
Future Goals
Gavin hopes to grow Seton Service into a tool that not only helps students at Seton Hall but also spreads to other schools, increasing volunteerism and student involvement nationwide. The platform aims to expand features, including notifications, event management, and even more robust tracking systems.
